GA (General Assembly)
GA refers to the General Assembly, one of the six main organs of the United Nations. It is a deliberative body where all 193 member states have equal representation, allowing them to discuss and work collaboratively on international issues such as peace, security, and development. Decisions on important matters, like peace and security, admission of new members, and budgetary concerns, require a two-thirds majority, while other decisions are made by a simple majority. The GA serves as a platform for dialogue and policy-making on a global scale.
